Human rule has been overthrown....
The year is 2032, it has been twenty years since humans have suffered the cruelest fate of all. Shifters, after years of hiding in large numbers among us, chose to overthrow the governments that, for reasons no one understood, caused them to keep their identities secret. The large variety of Shifters murdered, butchered, and maimed the human government. Overnight, the human population, now completely defenseless was rounded up by these supernatural beings.
Twenty years later, things are looking worse...
Humans, infant, children, adults, the elderly, man, woman, boy, girl, of any race and body type are under Shifter rule. They act as slaves of various types, and some are even kept as literal pets to their masters. They are looked down upon as savage animals, many even act as though they were domestic dogs or cats.
At the center of the slave trade is Claw City, the hub of the world that was once New York City. It contains the most massive of all slave markets, 'The Marketplace', where free humans are often lured with promises of asylum, of sanctuary, and thrown into clear glass cages to be sold off to shifter masters.
Most shifters stay in animal form, though some choose to stay in human form. They raise their children under the belief the Shifter's have always been the ruling class. And only a few are aware that the pets and slaves kept in their homes are the least bit sentient. Most believing they are mindless animals.
But even so, a small resistance is quietly forming... Underground, a small group of humans is gathering to fight back and free their kind from the shifter's rule.
The question is, who are you in all of this madness. A shifter master? A human slave or pet? Or perhaps, you are part of the growing resistance force?
