Site Rules:
Follow these (fairly simple) rules while you're on here and we'll all get on fine. We operate on a three-strike warning system: you'll be given a warning if you break any of the rules, three warnings results in a two-week suspension. Any further rule-breaks after the suspension results in an indefinate ban.
The Rules:
- Play nice with your fellow posters. Any offensive remarks, abuse or anything upsetting will get you a warning, and if it's really nasty, you'll be banned without warning.
- Don't swear if it's not necessary. If you're planning on using a lot of strong language in your posts, put a warning in the thread title. Please don't swear in OOC threads.
- Use proper English - no lolspeak, text speak or 1337. Small uses of slang (lol, rofl etc) are fine in OOC threads, but don't do it all the time, it's annoying. If you have to be told over and over, a warning is heading your way.
- Your character bio must have been accepted before you start posting in any RP threads, but by all means post in the OOC sections while you wait.
- Please, please, please read the Lore before you make a character, it saves everyone a lot of time and effort.
- Keep your characters realistic - you'll be asked to edit anything deemed too powerful or unrealistic.
- Multiple characters are fine, but each character must be on a seperate account with the characters name as your display name.
- If you want to make another character, let a member of staff know before posting your bio.
- Try not to have too many of your own characters posting with each other, it can get very confusing very quickly.
- In RP posts, please make the difference between speech, thoughts and description clear. Ideally, speech should be in "speech marks" and thoughts should be either bold or italic.
- Don't put images at the beginning of posts. I know it's pretty common, but it makes the page load a lot slower and it's distracting.
- No spam, anywhere. Spamming gets you a warning without question. It's annoying and pointless.
- Don't double-post if you can help it - there's a modify button for a reason. You can double-post in RP threads if you're the only one posting or the other members don't mind.
- Please don't post personal messages to other members in threads. If you need to tell them something private, PM them.
