[Meleny Aldridge]

"That sounds like a good reason to study English. I love to read and if I were a school student, I'd love the subject of English.she replied. She smiled as he told her to go ahead if she had anymore questions. "What brought you to Shadowford?"she asked rather timidly even though he told her she could ask questions. She hoped it wasn't too personal of a question. She wasn't one to butt into other people's business. She just happened to be curious but what if his reasons for coming here were a delicate matter?

[Lind Herute]

Lind had been sitting there, after he said that Meleny could go ahead and ask him any questions. The question she chose to ask was how he came to Shadowford. When he heard this he actually had to think about a semi-true story. "Well, after I graduated from my college, I was looking into a subject that interested me. That subject was about whether or not supernatural beings really existed in this world. After I got done with research, I found that there was a city that supposedly had both supernatural and normal beings living in harmony. So, when a position opened here, I wanted to come here and help those people who couldn't learn to understand one another and get along, to be able to do so." he answered while he looked at her, awaiting another question. He was hoping that she wouldn't get offended by his answer, though it was mostly true. He had heard stories about this place after Marute was killed, and he was wandering around, looking for something to do with his life. "Anymore questions?" he asked while he still gazed in her direction, noticing even more how beautiful she was. Maybe I should be more truthful towards her? he thought as he gazed on.

Meleny listened to what he said and was shocked to get such a normal sounding answer. She was nervous about that? It sounded harmless enough. However, her nervousness about butting into his personal business didn't match the answer she recieved so she was a bit suspicious. She decided to let the matter drop and wait and see if he decides to tell the truth. She took another bite of the veggie burger as she thought about if she had anymore questions. "I-If you don't mind my asking, what kind of creature are you? I'm curious."she asked with the same hint of nervousness. It was all she could think of but it was definitely one of the things she wanted to know.

[Lind Herute]

While Lind was looking at Meleny, he noticed that she was trying to act normal despite probably being curious about him. Lind didn't blame her. In the early 1900's many people Lind had met were suspicious of him, well then again the sword carrying wanderer would normally arouse suspicion. Of course, this is when she asked him the question he would normally answer to anyone if they asked. "Oi! Lind! Don't even think about answering that question!" Tsero nearly screamed at him. "Why? Is there something wrong with answering it?" Lind replied. "Well, now that she knows your name, what if she heard about you? You and Marute did some horrible things during the war, so that might change her view of you." Tsero stated as he glared at Lind. " She has already heard my name, that would be enough to know me by for the deeds I did." Lind answered.

Lind then made up his mind. This might be the only person who could be able to understand him for who he is, not what he was. "Well, if I tell you, I would like it if you don't tell anyone what I am." Lind said as he gained a slight grin. "I am a being that watches over the world. A being that everyone believes can only do good deeds. My race is full of those thought to bring light. I am an Angel." He stated keeping his grin.

[Meleny Aldridge]

"I won't tell a soul."she replied. "I promise."she said. As he described what he was. "I've heard of those creatures before. My friend Cadence was in captivity with me when Shadowford performed horrible experiments on supernatural creatures. She's an angel too."she replied. "I always thought angels were incredibly rare creatures. It's quite an honor to meet another one."she replied with a smile. She had to admit that his face matched the creature she was. Her grandfather was a very smart man and often explained the other creatures to her and what they were so she would know who she was encountering if she ever met one. He believed he was preparing her for going out into this dangerous world alone. She believed that Lind's kind face matched his angelicness. She could totally see him as one who would look after others. However, his silence before answering once again made her curious and made her assume there was something else he wasn't telling her. For now she let the matter drop and admired his grin before finishing off her veggie burger.

[Lind Herute]

He liked hearing those words from her. Her saying that she wouldn't tell anyone. Normally he wouldn't believe the person, but for a certain reason he felt as though he could trust her. When he told her, she replied that Angels were rare, and that she was lucky to meet another one. "Well, really Angels aren't that rare, especially over the last few years. If you want to see a lot of them go to the Middle-East. That is where many of them are." Lind replied. To many people it would be common for those who are thought to be religious to reside in the Middle-East due to all the old religious things. "If you want to know something strange about the Archangels and those higher up Angels, is that they are all twins." He added, while stating the unknown fact. To him, Lind had met only two Archangels, which were Raphael and Israafiyl, the two would generally lead Angels into battle against the Demons of Hell.

After he said that, he felt a strange flash go across his mind. The feeling he got made his eyes open wide for a second, then went back to their normal size as he looked away from Meleny, and towards a path. "Lind, there's someone here." Tsero said. "I know, but we can't do anything about it here, lets just continue with this until we leave." Lind replied as he looked back at Meleny. I hate it when people do this. Many of those supernatural hunters believe that they can take on a warrior Angel just because they believe in themselves. Stupid fools, they can't just learn to understand anyone else. he thought.

"Well, is there anything else you would like to do?" he asked as he smiled again, forgetting the fact that this was his repayment for her answering his question.

(I was going to sort of start off the thing of the hunters here, but if you don't want to I'm fine with that. ~Lind)

(sorry I haven't been on lately. I was sick with a cold this past week but I'm good now. I thought I'd get a post out of the way before school tomorrow.)

Meleny was intrigued by this information that archangels and higher up angels are twins. "I didn't know that. However, I'm not clear as to what an archangel is. I've heard of them just as I've heard of regular and fallen angels. I can tell the difference between the other two easily. It's just archangels that are new to me. Are they a new kind of angel species or have they been around for a while?"she asked and she hoped it wasn't an intrusive question.

Meleny watched Lind with confusion. He seemed as if he was distracted by something else during their conversation. "Is something wrong?"she asked worriedly as he looked away from her. She looked all around them to see if there was anyone here other than them. He obviously sensed something which scared her. "s-something else..right.she said suddenly distracted like he was a few minutes before. She knew she wasn't exactly dating him but she suddenly felt vulnerable and scared. She felt the need to press herself up against him like frightened girls do around their boyfriends. But it was a very presumptous move right now especially since they were trying to get to know one another.

(I'm glad you got better, it really sucks being sick. And I haven't posted as quickly as I wanted because I just went on a trip across the country. Anyways, lets keep having fun )

The uneasiness had started building in Lind as he heard Meleny reply about the comments of Archangels. "No, the Archangels are the oldest and probably most powerful angels in existence." he replied getting a small smile again, but remembering the person who was watching him. Then of course Meleny asked if something was wrong. "No, nothings wrong." he stated, but he knew she was reading him.

"Tsero, keep an eye on him. If he makes a move, I want you to fight him, not myself." Lind said to Tsero who apparently was listening. "Just because of that vow you made? Well it doesn't matter to me, you will just have to explain something to her."Tsero replied keeping a straight face.

"Would you like to go for a walk?" Lind asked as he stood up and put his hand out towards Meleny in a fashion of asking someone to join you, though he had a smile on his face.

(sorry it took me so long again. Cramps then a headache kept me off the internet)

Meleny was confused when he said nothing was wrong. "What makes them so powerful?"she asked to hide the fact that she was nervous and speculating. She smiled when he asked if she wanted to go for a walk. "Sure"she replied as she took his hand.

[Lind Herute]

"Well for one, the Archangels were the original ones, they have power to command us lower angels. They get their powers from being the holiest of all of us, which is why they are known in so many religions." Lind answered. He had let go of her hand after he had helped her up. He then proceeded to lead the way down the path, looking at the different flowers that were blooming around the path, keeping a small eye on the man who was now following the two.

"What's your favorite flower?" Lind asked as he gave a slight smile as he looked at Meleny. "Mine is the rose, they are so beautiful, yet when mistreated, the thorns hurt you." he added on as he continued walking.

(I'm sorry for being late. School and everything.)

Meleny started to follow Lind and kept getting more nervous. He seemed keen on changing the subject. What wasn't he telling her? "My favorite flower."she said thoughtfully. "I like roses too but I think my favorite flower would have to be Daisies. I've heard they're a symbol of innocence. I also heard that Roses are a symbol of love, beauty, and passion."she explained with a smile.

[Lind Herute]

(Sorry for the wait, I have been busy with other things.)

"Yo, Lind, he is going to be making a move soon, his stance is stating that." Tsero remarked. To this Lind gave a small glance back to the man following him, but trying to hide it he turned back to Meleny, giving a reassuring smile. "How about you let me fight, if that were so this could end a lot faster, also I would put him in his place." Tsero said while he gave a smile showing his teeth, especially his fang teeth. "But if I did that then I would have to explain." Lind replied. "Well you'll be explaining something no matter what." Tsero answered. "Fine, I give in. But under no circumstances are you allowed to hurt anyone else...and once you are done you give control of the body back to me." Lind said while he gave in. "Okay!" Tsero exclaimed.

Within an instant the Lind that had been walking with Meleny stopped walking, his eyes turned to a grayish silver color. "Yo, if you want to fight just do so already I'm tired of waiting!" Tsero called back to the hunter that was following himself and Meleny. "Lind says sorry." Tsero said as he looked at Meleny. In a split second Tsero ran forward at an inhuman speed towards the man. Before he got there, the man pulled out a pistol. "Too slow." Tsero said as he had already thrown a rose towards the man. Upon contact the rose exploded into a thorned vine, wrapping around the man and holding him in one place.

"So, you really thought you would be able to kill me? A lowly human like yourself. Just die." Tsero said as the vine tightened cutting through the man. Yes, very bloody, but that is why Lind was known to those Angels who fought against Hell. The one who showed the hurtful side of beauty.

Once he was done, Tsero's hand went to his forehead, as if to cover his face. As quickly as he had became Tsero, Lind reappeared, all blue eyed. He moved his hand down and looked at Meleny. He didn't know how she would react to this. To him all the fighting had stopped, he didn't want it anymore. He would tell her that...and tell her about Tsero, since she was the first person to find out about him.

[Meleny Aldridge]

Meleny watched as Lind stopped walking beside her and instantly turned into someone who wasn't Lind. She raised an eyebrow and watched what was happening. She nodded to the the person who was obviously supressing Lind when he said he apologized for what was happening. Come to think of it she didn't understand what had just happened and to be honest the whole thing was a bit frightening. She didn't know Lind could be one person one minute and a completely different person the next minute. His eyes had even changed colors. "What just happened? Who was that? and who was following us?"she asked when she was sure Lind was himself again. "One minute you were being really sweet and the next you were somebody terrifying."she stated.

[Lind Herute]

"I'm truly sorry, I don't like letting people see that side of myself. In fact I have been hiding it for nearly a hundred years." Lind said as he glanced down towards the ground, giving a face a remorse. "I was born right before the Second Eternal War, which I took part in. I was a soldier of the Armies of Heaven, but when the war ended with the disappearance of Lucifer, I left the army, and went off to follow my own dreams. Throughout that entire time though, I knew someone was always with me. His name was Tsero. The other person within me, the one who can harness my power to its full potential. And obviously he the polar opposite of myself. But of course there are those who have heard of the Blooming Angel and are more than happy to try to prove their strength by killing me." Lind stated as he started walking towards Meleny. "I'm sorry if any of that scared you, and I'm sorry you had to see that side of myself. But now that I have his consent, I will answer any questions you have for me." He stated as he went back to her side. Hopefully she can understand that and see that I am different from Tsero.
He thought as he waited.

Meleny saw the remorse on his face. She now understood Tsero didn't want him to tell her all this for some reason. She saw no reason to be angry at him because she didn't think he wasn't not telling her on purpose. "Who was Lucifer and what is the Blooming Angel?"she asked. She still kind of found this all hard to grasp. The guy she loved had a split personality. "Can you control your other side or does he come and go as he pleases?"she asked. "and it's ok. You had to do it to get rid of that guy. I still don't understand why he was following us."she said. She smiled to show she accepted his apology. She wanted to be with him and she assumed all she had to do was learn how to be flexible and stay on her toes. This wasn't something your average person saw everyday but then again Meleny wasn't normal so she should be used to weird things like split personalities.
