If she sees another person wearing them she wouldn't make fun of them. Piercings and tattoos just aren't her style and she respects people's style. Her clothing style is a bit casual but sometimes she'll wear skirts and dresses besides boring jeans and t-shirts. She also wears a necklace around her neck constantly that her mother gave her.

Personality: Meleny is a very sweet person and helpful. She's quite pleasant to be around once you get to know her. Other than her sweet side, she has a side of her that is quite serious, spanning from a recent event in her life.When she's in battle with someone, she's quite serious and will risk her life to protect humans which she happens to have a soft side for. Part of her serious side is that she's very overprotective of those she loves. She was overprotective of her mother after she married Alexander and was old enough to be protective.
She was the only one who noticed the changes in him, his desire for power, etc. Meleny is also quite tempermental. She'll flip out if something is going wrong or there's some kind of injustice going on she feels should be righted. She shouldn't be crossed when she's in a bad mood. Her overprotectiveness can sometimes get on people's nerves if they think they're capable of keeping themselves out of danger.
Meleny is emotional and sometimes isn't afraid to show she's scared, or in pain but when met with an enemy she'll try to decieve them and cover up her weaknesses which includes trying to hide the scar underneath her right eye which is the only one visible. The others are on her body elsewhere and can only be seen when she's either getting dressed or undressing. Usually she's in control of her emotions and knows when and when not to show them but when she's scared or under stress the chain binding her emotions snaps and she becomes a total wreck.
Meleny is considerate. She always knows the right thing to say in a bad situation and has always been thought of as a mother figure to people younger than her. She protects them from danger and shares her knowledge with them. Even though she'll look 18 for the rest of her life her mind keeps aging and she has intelligence that goes beyond her years. She's quite clever and can usually get someone out of a sticky situation if she tries hard enough. She never gives up even if she feels like it. She'll be loyal until her death..
History: Although Meleny is originally from Italy, Shadowford Cove was like a second home to her before the cruel experiments made it a horrible place to be. Her grandfather was one of the oldest living vampires and he lived there. It was also where her friends the McKennas lived 200 years ago Meleny was visiting her grandfather having her archery lessons. She was still a young half breed but they wanted her anyway because her father was a powerful vampyre and they assumed she would have his powers. Both Meleny, her grandfather and her twin sister were captured. Her sister was also very cruel and she believed the government had no place torturing them like this. The next thing Meleny knew she woke up in a cold cellar where she found her friends the McKennas. Her grandfather and sister had been taken away for experiments. Her best friend Cadence was an angel and she was scarred up from being experimented on. Her older brother Carlow was a doctor and also a vampire. Their parents had died the previous day from their injuries and Carlow was doing everything in his power to protect his sister until they can escape.
Eventually weeks pass by and it's Meleny's turn to be experimented on. Carlow fought like heck to keep her from them. They had been friends for a long time and always hung out whenever Meleny came to Shadowford Cove. Meleny was like another little sister to him and losing her to their cruel experiments was not an option. However, they were determined to have her. Someone knocked him out then proceeded to take Meleny. She tried to fight back but they were too much for her. She screamed and begged for mercy as they did experiment after experiment on her. She accumulated so many injuries that she nearly died. When they were done Meleny was brought back to the holding cell and she dragged her beaten body over to Carlow who was almost coming out of unconsciousness. At that point Meleny was beginning to lose consciousness herself when her grandfather was returned to the holding cell in bad shape. He died in front of her when the guards returned for Carlow. He had refused to be experimented on so all heck broke loose then. Eventually Carlow got rid of the guards then went back over to Meleny. She was clinging to life by a thread. The only thing left to do to save her was to make her a full vampire so he did so right there in the holding cell since he couldn't wait any longer.
They had to sit and wait for the transformation to complete even though getting out of there would've been the next best thing. Their protection was left up to Cadence and Carlow. Carlow always protected his sister because she was an angel and didn't use weapons. Carlow on the other had was a vampire. He didn't like using weapons much either but he had no choice. They stayed in that room for another month and watched Meleny "die" then rise up as a full vampire. During the wait, the guards showed up and now the task of watching over Meleny fell to Carlow's pacifist little sister. This time Carlow killed every single one of the guards and when Meleny's transformation was done he let her drink their blood. It was her first time drinking human blood. She never wanted to hurt another human being but these were cruel people so she didn't care that they had to die.While all this was going on, Meleny's sister was in the holding cell just watching. She was tough so nothing about the situation got to her like it did for everyone else.
Years later they escaped but then moved back to Shadowford Cove because it was no longer dangerous and the cruel experiments had finally ceased. Meleny currently lives in an apartment with the McKennas and her twin sister. They never had a proper funeral for her grandfather because his body was destroyed when the lab was destroyed. Meleny completed her archery lessons with her other grandfather. She called her mother in Italy to tell her that her father was dead and now her father's father came to Shadowford Cove to teach her everything he knew about weaponry. She learned more about archery and how to wield a sword from him.

She had been under the cruciatus curse for too long. She spent her first night back at Hogwarts in the hospital wing because her mother said there was no time for her to be checked out at st mungos. Madam Pomfrey hadn't wanted to keep her there any longer than one night because her O.W.L exams were approaching and she didn't want her to miss any review in class. However, studying and the exam was the last thing on her mind. The pain was sapping her energy and ability to do magic. She could not get out of bed without a hassle. Besides that, she had a black eye she was applying makeup to hide from passersby.
Meleny glanced up at the ceiling and sighed. She knew she had to get up and get food even though she didn't feel like eating but she had to do something to at least gather a smidgen of energy to make it through her classes. She threw back the covers and bit down on her lip as she slid out of bed. Her body began to protest the slight movement but she ignored it. She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, and then put on her uniform. She grabbed her school bag and left the common room. She stopped at the enterance hall and slid down against the wall, too tired to move any further. She reached into her bag and pulled out a compact mirror to look at her black eye. She let out a silent gasp when she realized that she hadn't put on concealer as she was getting ready. She put the mirror back in the bag and buried her head in her legs to cover it up from passersby.
As she hid her black eye she was thinking of when life was simpler and she didn't have much to worry about. Those were during her younger years living in Italy. Back then, she didn't know what Hogwarts or Death Eaters were until her acceptance letter arrived. Her twin sister was still a bully even when she was younger but she wasn't old enough to torture her like she did now so she wasn't much of a threat to her. Meleny started thinking about her childhood friend named Brenton Masiano who lived in the same neighborhood as her. He was her best friend who she couldn't live without. She used to hang out with him a lot as a young girl.
The last time she saw him was when she was 10 just before her acceptance letter came. She was beyond excited when she discovered he was a Hogwarts student but they couldn't hang out as much since Slytherin and Gryffindor were rivals. The last thing she needed was for people to start talking about the two of them. She knew the fact that she hung out with him would be frowned upon by his housemates and her judgmental fellow Gryffindors. Meleny knew not to judge a book by it's cover. She had the feeling that when people saw him, they only saw the color of his robes but having grown up with him she knows that he isn't like the other Slytherins who support pureblood superiority like her family. If she wanted to hang out with him at all this year between classes, then they should be sneaky about it. Her twin sister was also a Slytherin and she grew up with them. Jezebel couldn't fathom why he hung out with Meleny more often than her.

The only other thing is I'm going to put you as a Dhampire if that's ok, because you've put vampire so it makes more sense than a half-breed. Just say if you'd prefer half-breed though.
